Thieves stole two trailers loaded with enough Guinness to pour around 70,000 pints from an industrial estate in Runcorn, Cheshire.
The theft happened on the evening of August 31, when two separate lorries entered the depot more than an hour apart and each drove away with a trailer full of Guinness.
Around 800 barrels were taken, with the beer alone estimated to be worth roughly $155,000. Including the trailers, the total value of the stolen goods is believed to exceed $200,000.
Both trailers were white and carried GXO branding. Police believe each lorry was driven by a man and are asking witnesses or anyone with relevant footage to come forward.
Authorities are now working to recover the stolen beer and trailers and return them to the company.
