Text-to-speech company Speechify has launched a dedicated app for ChatGPT, letting users hear AI responses spoken in voices donated by well-known pop culture figures, including Snoop Dogg and MrBeast.
ChatGPT already offers a built-in voice mode, but Speechify’s integration adds celebrity-voiced narration on top of that. The software converts text from websites, PDFs, and documents into natural-sounding audio and is widely used by people with visual impairments, dyslexia, or those who prefer listening while multitasking.
As of February 3, users can add Speechify directly inside ChatGPT via the apps sidebar. By tagging @speechify after a response, ChatGPT will read it aloud using one of Speechify’s premium voices.
In addition to Snoop Dogg and MrBeast, Speechify’s voice library includes other high-profile names such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Paris Hilton, King Bach, and actor John Rhys-Davies. Speechify founder and CEO Cliff Weitzman said the integration is designed to make AI responses easier to consume by turning text into audio using high-quality, familiar voices.
The launch highlights a broader trend of celebrities and influencers lending their likeness or voice to AI tools, as personality-driven AI becomes a growing part of consumer tech.
