Fans of KFC now have the chance to own a piece of the brand’s history, as the former home of founder Harland “Colonel” Sanders has been listed for sale in Canada.

Located at 1337 Melton Drive in Mississauga, Ontario, the property is on the market for just under CAD $1.5 million, or roughly USD $1 million.

Sanders lived in the home from 1965 until his death in 1980 after relocating to Canada to oversee KFC’s Canadian operations. Since then, the property has been extensively renovated, including a major expansion completed in 2014.

The home now features four bedrooms, three bathrooms, more than 2,000 square feet of living space, two laundry rooms, a modernized kitchen, updated bathrooms, hardwood flooring, and parking for four vehicles.

While the famous secret recipe is not included, the listing has attracted attention from KFC fans and history enthusiasts intrigued by the connection to one of the most recognizable figures in the fast-food industry.

For buyers with a passion for fried chicken history, it may be one of the most unique properties currently on the market.
