An 18-year-old Florida man was arrested after posting video of his own high-speed police chase on TikTok, which officers later used to track him down.

Authorities say Derrick Walker of Navarre sped past police on a motorbike in February, reportedly reaching more than 90 mph in a 35 mph zone. Deputies noticed the bike had no license plate and a long action-camera pole attached to the back.

When officers attempted to stop him, Walker allegedly accelerated and fled. The chase ended when he managed to escape.

Police later discovered footage of the incident posted on TikTok, which helped identify the rider. After executing a search warrant at Walker’s property, officers found gear matching the bike, and Walker admitted he was the one driving.

He was arrested on March 1 and now faces charges including felony fleeing or eluding law enforcement at high speed, reckless driving, and excessive speeding.
