Jeep has launched an unusual World Cup promotion that could see 100 Americans named George Washington receive a free 2026 Jeep Wrangler.

As part of its “All In on America” campaign, the automaker says the first 100 eligible people legally named George Washington who register will qualify for the giveaway. The catch: the U.S. men's national team must win the FIFA World Cup.

The promotion opened on June 10 and will remain available until the tournament final. If the U.S. lifts the trophy, each selected participant will receive a brand-new Wrangler.

Jeep is supporting the campaign with a patriotic advertising spot featuring comedian Iliza Shlesinger, who plays the brand’s fictional “Chief Soccer Officer.”

The company said the campaign is designed to celebrate America’s participation in the tournament by linking the giveaway to the country's first president. Census estimates suggest only a few hundred Americans legally share the name George Washington.

The promotion joins a growing list of World Cup-themed marketing campaigns from major brands hoping to capitalize on rising soccer interest in the United States.
