A former Little League president has been arrested in Las Vegas after allegedly stealing more than $64,000 from a youth baseball league to fund personal spending, including casino trips, adult entertainment, and PlayStation purchases.

Steve Rodriguez Prado was taken into custody on July 2 and faces charges including forgery and failing to register with law enforcement as a convicted person. The investigation began after league board members reported missing funds to police.

According to investigators, bank records showed thousands of dollars spent on casinos, ride-share services, adult entertainment, a bottle of premium tequila, and PlayStation-related purchases.

Authorities allege Rodriguez Prado disguised many of the expenses by labeling them as legitimate league costs.

Prado denied wrongdoing, telling police the situation had been "blown out of proportion." He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in court on July 30.

The alleged theft has drawn outrage from the local baseball community, with many expressing frustration that money intended for children's sports was instead used to finance a personal lifestyle.
