Meta is expanding its Muse AI agent to its smart glasses, bringing its task-handling capabilities to a hands-free device.
Muse can browse the web, book travel, make phone calls, send emails and even complete purchases with permission. The AI agent is currently available through Meta’s standalone apps and WhatsApp, but the company says it will arrive on its AI glasses in the coming months.
Announced at Meta Connect 2026, the glasses integration will allow users to ask Muse to handle tasks such as booking appointments, checking flight prices and finding specific products.
Users will be able to activate Muse by saying its name and giving it a request. The agent can then work in the background and notify the user when the task is complete.
For sensitive actions such as purchases, Muse requires permission before proceeding. Users can also control which external services the AI can access and revoke those connections at any time.
