Meta Platforms has unveiled its first AI model from Superintelligence Labs, called Muse Spark, marking the result of a major internal overhaul led by Mark Zuckerberg.

The model introduces multi-agent capabilities, improved health responses developed with over 1,000 physicians, and a shopping feature that turns content across Meta platforms into recommendations.

To build this, Meta invested $14 billion into Scale AI and brought in Alexandr Wang, while aggressively hiring top AI talent from competitors.

Muse Spark also includes a “contemplating mode” for handling complex tasks, alongside ongoing improvements in coding performance. Meta says it underwent extensive safety testing and shows strong refusal behavior on high-risk topics.

The launch pushed Meta’s stock up 8%, with Muse Spark now available through its AI platform and app, as the company positions it as an early step toward building personal superintelligence.
