Meta is further cementing its partnership with Nvidia under what the AI chipmaker described as a “multigenerational” agreement, signaling a long-term commitment between the two companies.
Announced on Tuesday, the deal involves Meta building large-scale data centers powered by millions of Nvidia’s current and next-generation GPUs to handle AI training and inference workloads.
These facilities are expected to support Meta’s expanding artificial intelligence ambitions across its platforms and products.
The move highlights Meta’s growing reliance on Nvidia’s hardware infrastructure, even as the company continues developing its own custom silicon and maintaining relationships with competing chipmakers such as AMD.
