Philip DeFranco says he will give away the entire $1 million prize he won in MrBeast’s recent YouTuber challenge, with plans to award $25,000 each to 40 subscribers.
The veteran creator revealed on TikTok that he never expected to win the competition. He originally joined the challenge simply to see how MrBeast’s large-scale productions operate behind the scenes and assumed he would be eliminated early among the 50 participating creators.
Instead, DeFranco advanced through every round and ultimately claimed the $1 million grand prize. Rather than keeping the money, he said he wants to share it with members of his audience.
“This is about giving money to my subscribers,” DeFranco explained, adding that giveaway details will be announced soon.
During the announcement, DeFranco also referenced claims that some participants were allegedly offered money to vote against him during the final stages of the competition. He said he was unaware of any such efforts while filming and thanked fellow creators who supported him regardless.
For now, no entry process has been revealed, but DeFranco says more information on the $1 million giveaway is coming soon.
