Downdetector which tracks platforms, showed more than 48,000 outage reports for Spotify worldwide on Wednesday afternoon.

They encouraged users in need of further assistance to reach out to their support account, @SpotifyCares.
Earlier today, numerous Spotify users reported challenges with loading both the app and the desktop site, as well as difficulties in playing songs and utilizing the search feature. Furthermore, updates on the downtime indicated that some users were also facing difficulties accessing the support site of the platform.
According to Spotify, as reported by The Associated Press, the service interruption began at roughly 6:20 a.m. ET on Wednesday, with operations returning to normal by 11:45 a.m. ET.
While Spotify has not provided further insights into the cause of the outage, the Stockholm-based company has previously clarified that any allegations of a security hack are completely unfounded.
