TikToker Serena Neel turned 50,000 damaged pickles into a viral neighborhood event after filling a swimming pool with them and inviting locals over for a one-of-a-kind pool party.
Neel documented the project on TikTok, showing pallets of unsellable pickles being unloaded, removed from their jars, rinsed, and transported into a backyard pool. She explained that the pickles could no longer be sold or donated and were destined for disposal, so she decided to give them an unusual second life before they were recycled.
The project involved multiple helpers opening jars and moving wheelbarrows full of pickles as the pool gradually transformed into what Neel called a “pickle pool.”
Once all 50,000 pickles had been added, Neel jumped into the pool herself, joking that she felt “like an alligator” while swimming among the floating cucumbers.
The stunt quickly became a neighborhood attraction, with residents showing up to enjoy pizza, inflatable pool toys, and the unusual pickle-filled swimming pool.
The viral video has attracted millions of views, making the pickle pool the latest attention-grabbing project from Neel, who recently made headlines after transforming her home into a fully stocked free 7-Eleven for visitors.
