Twitch streamer KumaMonster says he was denied entry to TwitchCon Europe 2026 after his ticket was unexpectedly refunded just before the event, despite spending weeks walking 550 kilometers (340 miles) to attend.

Known for livestreaming long-distance walking challenges, KumaMonster turned his trip to Rotterdam into a public event called “Road to TwitchCon.” After completing the journey, he says he received an email the day before the convention informing him that his ticket had been refunded.

According to KumaMonster, attempts to resolve the issue through Twitch support and the event helpdesk led nowhere, leaving him unable to enter the convention. He says no explanation was provided for the cancellation.

In a post on X, KumaMonster expressed frustration over the situation, noting that he had spent more than $10,000 on the trip and had completed similar TwitchCon walks in previous years without issues.

Twitch has not publicly responded to the claims, and the reason for the ticket refund remains unclear. The company has yet to issue an official statement regarding the incident.
