A Kentucky woman has been arrested after allegedly pointing an AR-15 rifle at a KFC employee because she was unhappy with how long her food order was taking.
According to WKYT, the incident happened in Lexington in May. Police say 33-year-old Nayda Roman argued with a KFC worker over the wait before returning to her vehicle, retrieving an AR-15-style rifle from the trunk, and pointing it at the employee.
No shots were fired, and Roman left the scene shortly afterward.
She was arrested on July 27 and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, an offense that can carry a prison sentence of up to five years and a fine of up to $10,000 under Kentucky law.
The case follows another fast-food dispute in Maryland earlier this year, where a woman was arrested after allegedly displaying a handgun at Taco Bell employees over a delayed order.
