YouTube is expanding its partnership with NBCUniversal by including Peacock Premium at no extra cost for eligible YouTube Premium subscribers in the US.
The bundle combines YouTube Premium’s existing features—including ad-free videos, background playback, offline downloads, and YouTube Music—with the ad-supported version of Peacock Premium. Google says rollout details and eligibility information will be shared in the coming months.
Subscribers who qualify will gain access to Peacock’s catalog of live sports, Universal films, and original series while keeping all of YouTube Premium’s existing benefits.
The bundle includes content such as NFL and NBA games, Saturday Night Live, Love Island USA, and Law & Order: SVU.
YouTube also plans to introduce similar subscription bundles in international markets and offer upgrade options for higher Peacock tiers in the future.
As part of the partnership, select NBCUniversal live sporting events will also be streamed on the NBC Sports YouTube channel, giving more viewers free access to major events.
The announcement follows several recent updates to YouTube Premium, including a US price increase and the addition of features like Auto Speed, On the Go mode, and Ask Music.
