A YouTuber who paid $2,210 for an abandoned storage unit says he uncovered more than $120,000 worth of Adidas merchandise inside—including rare sample products and unreleased items that may eventually be returned to the company.
Harrison Nevel revealed the discovery in a June 2 video after purchasing the unit at auction. According to him, the storage space contained more than 300 boxes filled with Adidas products, including soccer jerseys, soccer balls, sample cleats, and other merchandise.
The story quickly gained attention online, with many viewers wondering how such a large collection of Adidas inventory ended up abandoned. Nevel said shipping labels found on the boxes suggested the products originated from an Adidas facility.
In a follow-up video, Nevel claimed the original owner contacted him after the story went viral. According to Nevel, the individual worked for Adidas and had access to product samples through their job. The YouTuber said he later removed footage showing several unreleased products after learning they were not yet public.
Nevel also revealed that he had planned to sell some of the items but paused those plans while discussions continue. He says he has been communicating with the former owner rather than Adidas directly, but has heard that the company may want some of the unreleased products returned ahead of future launches.
The collection is estimated to be worth around $120,000, and Nevel says he hopes to reach an agreement that fairly compensates him for any items Adidas requests back. He added that he has previously worked with Adidas and wants to resolve the situation amicably.
