YouTuber MessYourself has criticized YouTube after his nearly 7 million–subscriber channel was demonetized, prompting him to start removing his videos.
Known for gaming and reaction content, he revealed on March 21 that his channel lost monetization after 12 years and over 3 billion views. He claimed YouTube asked him to delete content without specifying which videos were the issue.
After unsuccessful attempts to resolve the situation with the platform, he announced he would delete his channels and move his content elsewhere.
His case follows growing backlash from creators, including animators and YouTubers like MoistCr1TiKaL, who have raised concerns about AI-driven moderation on the platform.
