A group of YouTubers attempted to sneak into a screening of Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey by recreating one of the film’s most famous moments in real life.
Inspired by the legendary Trojan Horse from Greek mythology, the creators built a large wooden horse and tried to use it to enter an AMC theater without buying tickets for everyone.
The group, FullSquad, documented the prank in a video posted online. With only one ticket between the three of them, two members hid inside the homemade Trojan Horse while a third pulled it through the theater.
The unusual disguise managed to get past multiple employees as they made their way toward the screening room, believing their plan had worked.
The stunt came to an abrupt end when the Trojan Horse tipped over while turning a corner, revealing the two people hiding inside. Security quickly intervened and informed the group they could not bring the horse into the theater.
Another employee, while asking whether they had tickets, admitted they admired the creativity behind the attempt, even though it ultimately failed.
